Atlas helped us fill the gap between developers and operations, by offering a language and framework-agnostic way to handle database migrations in many microservices in multiple environments. It has reduced the risk of promoting migrations to production.  Before this, the migrations were either handled in the application or by hand and prone to manual changes being missed when promoting software through environments

As an SRE division with are always searching to improve the product stability and reliability and the solution we built with Atlas extends this to our database layer. Having a standard pipeline using GitOps and Atlas enables us to evolve our databases the same way we have with our code.

I work on a team building a platform that services hundreds of developers. We chose Atlas to manage database schemas for two reasons:

• 1) We wanted a Kubernetes-native solution to manage all resources, for which Atlas has no real competition.
• 2) Our devs already loved the Atlas CLI so it was an easy change.
